Coco Gauff will face Belinda Bencic in Australian Open 2025 4R
Coco Gauff will take on Belinda Bencic in the fourth round of the 2025 Australian Open. Her best performance at the Grand Slam tournament was reaching the semifinals in 2024, where she was defeated by eventual champion, Aryna Sabalenka. On the other hand, Bencic's best performance at the tournament has been reaching the fourth round three times, in 2016, 2023, and this year, 2025.

The former World No. 4 then advanced to the fourth round after her third-round opponent, Naomi Osaka, retired from their match during the second set due to an injury.
Gauff and Bencic have faced each other twice on the WTA Tour, with each player winning one match. Their most recent encounter was in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Citi Open, where the American emerged victorious with a score of 6-1, 6-2. She then went on to defeat Maria Sakkari 6-2, 6-3 in the final to claim the title.
