Despite facing Novak Djokovic in the 2024 Wimbledon Championships final, Carlos Alcaraz displayed the most stress when asked about the prospect of dancing with the women's singles winner Barbora Krejcikova at the Champions' Ball. The Spaniard humorously made an honest admission about his subpar dancing skills.

Alcaraz clinched his second consecutive Wimbledon title in spectacular fashion, claiming an emphatic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) win over the Serb and securing his fourth Major crown. With his triumph, the 21-year-old dashed the Serb's hopes of matching Roger Federer's record of eight Wimbledon titles and kept him from winning his 25th Grand Slam trophy.

The Spaniard also joined the elite group of Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg, Rafael Nadal, Federer and Djokovic by becoming only the sixth player in the Open Era to achieve the Channel Slam -- winning both the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year.

Despite his impressive accomplishment, Carlos Alcaraz disclosed that he would put his celebrations on the backburner, shifting his focus to Spain's clash with England in the Euro 2024 final. The 21-year-old will also attend the Wimbeldon Champions' Ball, where he will be expected to share a traditional dance with the women's champion Barbora Krejcikova.

When asked about partnering Krejcikova, Alcaraz showed visible signs of stress as he rubbed his hand on his face. While the Spaniard hilariously admitted that his dancing skills leave much to be desired, he vowed to give it his best effort.

"Let's say, could be better I guess. Yeah, let's see tonight, but I try to do my best," he said.

During the on-court interview, Carlos Alcaraz also expressed pride in seeing his persistent efforts rewarded by joining the prestigious list of players who have won both the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year.

"Well, I've been just fighting, believing, I don't know... it's a huge honour for me to be a part of the of those players who have achieved Roland Garros and Wimbledon in the same year," Carlos Alcaraz said.

However, the Spaniard confessed that he doesn't consider himself a true champion on par with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, asserting that he is still striving to reach that status.

"Really glad to to be, you know, in the same table as [Novak Djokovic], to do it, huge champions. I'm not considering myself a champion yet, but you know, I'm trying to," he added.

With his triumph over Djokovic in the Wimbledon title clash, Carlos Alcaraz accomplished a remarkable feat by extending his perfect record in Grand Slam finals to 4-0.
