Danielle Collins continued to troll the Australian Open crowd days after her exit from the event. She claimed that her pet dog Quincy would be able to afford a lavish dinner and a trip to the Bahamas due to the contributions to the 'Quincy fund.'

Taking to her Instagram Story, Collins shared a boomerang video of her Labradoodle, Quincy, and thanked the Melbourne crowd for supporting her matches, which will potentially fund Quincy's lavish lifestyle. She captioned the Story:

"This sophisticated gentlemen wanted to thank everyone that also contributed to the Quincy fund during the Australian Open. He will be having steak and lobster tonight and will also be attending the trip to the Bahamas 💕😘"

During the 2025 Australian Open, World No. 11 Collins became a focal point of controversy due to her interactions with the Melbourne crowd. In her second-round match against Australia's Destanee Aiava, the American faced persistent heckling. In response, after securing victory, she blew kisses to the audience.

Following the match, Collins addressed the crowd's behavior and humorously thanked them, stating:

"I was thinking during the match. I was like, 'If I'm out of here, I might as well just take that big fat paycheck.' Coco and I love, we love a good 5-star vacation. So part of that check is gonna go towards that," Danielle Collins said.
“So thank you guys, thanks for coming out here and supporting us tonight,” she added.

The tension escalated during her third-round match against fellow American Madison Keys, where Collins was met with boos upon entering the court. The 31-year-old eventually lost to Keys and exited the event.

Danielle Collins hilariously opened up about "grinding" so her dog Quincy can afford a "boujee lifestyle"

In May 2024, Danielle Collins took to her Instagram Story after her quarterfinal win over Victoria Azarenka at the Italian Open to share a picture of her dog, Quincy. She humorously captioned it:

"Just out here grinding so I can afford my dog's boujee lifestyle."

Earlier in March, when Collins won the Miami Open, she crowned her dog Quincy the MVP in a heartfelt message, praising him for his love and energy. She also called him her "favorite son."

In tennis terms, Collins, who has postponed her retirement, has played four singles matches this year. She was a member of the USA's United Cup-winning team but did not play any singles matches. Later, she was ousted in the first round at the Adelaide International before pulling off a third-round finish in Melbourne.
