Martina Navratilova recently lashed out at Donald Trump for criticizing US President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris. Biden and Trump recently competed in a fierce presidential debate on June 27.
Recently, a video of Trump talking about Biden's performance during the debate came to light. He also talked about Harris and called her pathetic.
"How did I do with the debate the other night? That old broken down pile of crap. Yeah. It's a bad guy. He just quit, you know. He's quitting the rest. Yep. I got him out of the race. And that means we have Kamala. I think she's going to be better. She's so bad. She's so pathetic. It's just so f*cking bad. I just can't imagine. But can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin and the president of China, who's a fierce person? He's a fierce man, a very tough guy. And they see him, they probably can't. But if they just announce he's probably quitting. He just keeps knocking them out, right?" Trump was heard in the video.
Navratilova called out the former president for being disrespectful to his opponents and said he doesn't care about the US. She wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
"The utter disrespect from this guy deserves nothing but utter contempt for him- that right there shows you he doesn’t give a cr*p about America- it’s all about him."
Martina Navratilova: "He is absolutely deplorable"
Martina Navratilova continued to criticize Donald Trump on the thread as a fan tried to defend him saying:
"At least he knows what a woman is though."
Navratilova pointed to Trump's past alleged assaults against women and called him deplorable.
"He sure does know what a woman is as he certainly knows how to assault them and worse, knows how to walk into a room full of naked teenage girls. He is absolutely deplorable," Navratilova replied.
The fan continued to defend Trump, stating that American voters would have a tough choice in October.
"American voters will have a difficult choice to make in October. I still think I’d have to pick the one that’s not fully indoctrinated in the cult of gender though," the same fan said.
The former World No. 1 replied:
"Nope. I prefer the one who doesn’t use Mein Kampf as a blueprint for his plan called Project 2025."
Navratilova is active on social media and frequently presents her take on politics, among other things.
