Coco Gauff and Taylor Townsend each clinched their maiden Grand Slam titles in women's doubles this season, both winning with Katerina Siniakova as their partner. Fans have shared their hilarious reactions regarding the Czech's role in the American duo's triumphs.

After winning the French Open women's doubles title with Gauff, Siniakova teamed up with Townsend at Wimbledon. The duo entered the grasscourt Major as the No. 4 seeds and produced a stellar campaign to set up a blockbuster final against third seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe.

Engaging in a closely contested battle with Dabrowski and Routliffe, Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova edged past the third seeds to claim a 7-6(5), 7-6(1) victory in two hours and four minutes.

The triumph marked Townsend's maiden Grand Slam title in any category, while the Czech recorded her ninth Major women's doubles title. The former doubles World No. 1 also completed the coveted Channel Slam, having partnered Coco Gauff for the American's first Grand Slam doubles title at this year's French Open.

Tennis fans shared hilarious reactions to Katerina Siniakova's success with both Coco Gauff and Taylor Townsend, with one fan joking that the 28-year-old had done more to uplift the Black community than former US president Barack Obama.

"Did more for the black community than Obama 🙏🏾," one fan joked.
"Katerina is an ally to the Black community!" another fan chimed in.
"Siniakova when it’s time to win slams with black women," said another.

Several fans also playfully speculated about the Czech continuing the trend by partnering Alycia Parks or Sloane Stephens at the US Open.

"Now when she teams up with Alycia Parks in NY then what??" one fan posted.
"Sloane pick up the phone and make the call🗣️🗣️🗣️," another fan quipped.

Others, meanwhile, expressed their admiration for Katerina Siniakova's prowess in doubles, with one fan even counting her among the greatest doubles players in tennis history.

"I don't know why more people don't speak about Siniakova. Surely one of the greatest doubles players in history," the fan wrote.
"I will NEVER tolerate any Siniakova slander after this summer," another fan chimed in.
"This is what can happen when you play along with Katerina! She is such a great competitor and brings out the best in whatever partner she plays with!" said yet another.

Despite her French Open doubles triumph with Katerina Siniakova, Coco Gauff chose to revive her partnership with Jessica Pegula at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.

In an interview with the Tennis Channel amid her campaign, Pegula explained that she had already "locked down" the World No. 2 for doubles at the grasscourt Major prior to her victory with Siniakova in Paris.

With the duo set to represent Team USA in women's doubles at the upcoming Paris Olympics, Pegula expressed her wish for them to build some momentum at SW19.

"Yeah, yeah. She did yeah. So that's nice. But hopefully we can maybe get some momentum here [Wimbledon]. I know it's not clay but at least for the Olympics. It's nice, obviously her getting a doubles Slam is really cool and then hopefully you know we seem to play well the doubles. So for the Olympics, I think it'll be fun," she said.

Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula made a run to the quarterfinals of the women's doubles event at Wimbledon, where they suffered a 6-2, 6-1 loss to top seeds Elise Mertens and Hsieh Su-wei.
