Frances Tiafoe hilariously asked Jannik Sinner to let him win at the 2024 US Open after losing to the World No. 1 at the 2024 Cincinnati Open. Sinner defeated the American 7-6(4), 6-2 in an hour and 36 minutes to win his second Masters 1000 title of the season.

The Italian has been having a phenomenal 2024 season having won five titles including at the Australian Open and two Masters 1000 events. He also became the 29th man in history to be ranked No. 1 on the ATP rankings. The 23-year-old came to the Cincinnati Masters following a defeat to Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open.

Sinner kicked off his campaign in Cincinnati with a comfortable win over Alex Michelsen and received a walkover past Jordan Thompson. He got his revenge against Rublev in the quarterfinals and followed it up with a brilliant three-set win against Alexander Zverev. He defeated Tiafoe in the final to clinch the Cincinnati Masters for the first time in his career.

During the trophy presentation, Frances Tiafoe lauded Jannik Sinner for his current form and said that the Italian doesn't 'lose at all'.

“I guess I gotta congratulate Jannik, man. Congrats for everything you’ve been doing... Getting to #1 in the world and pretty much never losing ever," Frances Tiafoe said. "Congrats man, congrats to Darren (Cahill) and I don’t know you all’s names but congrats to you all too, man." [at 00:50]

The American then wished Sinner the best for the US Open but hilariously requested the World No. 1 to not beat him at Flushing Meadows in New York if they meet there.

“Keep going... all the best in New York. If we play, don’t beat me in New York. But seriously man, congratulations to you guys, and yeah, it’s your time to come up brother.”
