Emma Raducanu, who was last seen in action at the 2023 Miami Open, took part in a Q&A session on Friday, April 7 and answered some of her fans’ questions. She revealed her future Grand Slam ambitions, her hobbies and her favorite personality traits.

One fan asked Emma Raducanu during the Instagram session what she likes about herself the most. The athlete, who has previously been praised for her work ethic, responded that she is proud of this aspect of her character and also revealed that she likes that she is always up for a good laugh.

“My work ethic & I love to laugh!!” she said.

In another such question, Emma Raducanu was asked which Grand Slam trophy she would be willing to lift next after her 2021 US Open triumph. The young Brit responded with a picture of the grass court at Wimbledon.

Raducanu's targeting of Wimbledon comes as no surprise, with the 20-year-old having produced her second-best Grand Slam result at the coveted tournament.

During the 2021 edition, Emma Raducanu marked her Grand Slam main draw debut after being granted a wildcard entry to contest her home Slam. The Brit staged a commendable run at the event, reaching the second week.

She, however, suffered from stomach cramps in her fourth-round match against Ajla Tomljanovic and was forced to retire, leading to a premature end to her campaign at the Grass Major.

Raducanu’s 2022 appearance at Wimbledon, on the other hand, was a bleak one. The British tennis player crashed out in the second round of the tournament against an in-form Caroline Garcia.

Going by her latest revelation, the 20-year-old has some unfinished business at her home Grand Slam event, and is expected to come out all guns blazing in the upcoming 2023 edition.

Emma Raducanu crumbled under the pressure of people’s expectations in 2022, but the former World No. 10 is putting in the necessary work and steadily reviving her form this season. She is currently ranked No. 68 in the world, a noteworthy rise from her ranking of No. 80 six weeks ago, thanks mainly to her fourth-round appearance in Indian Wells.

The 20-year-old, however, is furthering her career at her own pace and has been selective with her tournament participation, having borne the brunt of frequent injuries over the past season. She has also been devoting her time to interests outside of tennis.

During her latest fan Q&A, Raducanu opened up about what she enjoys apart from playing the sport. The Porsche ambassador revealed her interest in car racing as well as her hobby of clicking pictures.
