Liam Broady expressed his disbelief that Serena Williams’ ex-coach Patrick Mouratoglou excluded Roger Federer from his all-time best server list. The French coach recently named his top-5 all-time best servers on the men’s tour.

Mouratoglou reckons that Nick Kyrgios is the best server on the men’s circuit. He cited the reason why, though most players return better in the modern game, they still find it difficult to return Kyrgios’ serve. American John Isner, who holds the record for most aces on the ATP Tour, was named second.

Andy Roddick followed them in third for having the most ’violent' way of smashing a serve. Mouratoglou placed Ivo Karlovic in fourth and Pete Sampras in fifth place. However, Broady was surprised that both Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic were left off this list.

The Brit took to Twitter to express his shock at Roger Federer’s exclusion, stating that the Swiss Maestro ‘has to be’ on this list. Broady retweeted the list, stating that Federer has the most ’beautifully underrated' serve. He also opined that Novak Djokovic must be the most underrated server of all time.

He wrote:

“Federer has to be on this list. Has to be. Most beautifully underrated serve. Djokovic most underrated server of all time though."

Liam Broady calls Djokovic’s US ban ‘Ridiculous’

British tennis player Liam Broady thinks the US ban on Novak Djokovic for being unvaccinated is "ridiculous". Djokovic was denied a waiver to enter the USA to play in the ongoing Indian Wells and upcoming Miami Masters events.

Djokovic had applied for a special waiver to play in the USA, but Florida Senator Rick Scott tweeted that Djokovic's request had been denied. The ban means that the 22-time Grand Slam champion will miss the ‘Sunshine Double’ masters events for the second time in a row.

The 29-year-old took to Twitter to express his views once the decision to deny Djokovic entry was announced. He thought the decision was mind-boggling and that common sense no longer existed.

He wrote:

"Ridiculous Novak still not being allowed to enter the US for Indian Wells and Miami isn’t it really (mind-boggling). Common sense doesn’t really exist anymore."

Meanwhile, the Brit is back to winning ways after lifting the ATP Challenger title in Vilnius, Lithuania, his first since September 2021.
