Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan Broomfield hilariously reacted to a fan calling the tennis player 'HU Coach of the Year' after he visited Howard University as the Captain of the Day. Tiafoe also scored baskets with Howard's Bison men's basketball team and posed for group photos with the students.
Tiafoe, the former World No. 10, met fellow player Ayan Broomfield in 2015, and the couple has since been supporting each other on and off the court. Having graduated with women's studies from the University of California in Los Angeles, Broomfield settled in LA to continue her professional tennis career. She has also acted as Venus Williams' double in the feature film, King Richard.
Now promoting her foundation, creating content and endorsing several brands, Tiafoe's girlfriend often takes hilarious jabs at the latter on social media, too. In recent news, the Grand Slam semi-finalist visited Howard University, also known as 'The Mecca', for being the 'Captain of the Day'.

Tiafoe's recent Instagram picture carousel featured him with the HU team, his girlfriend Broomfield and football quarterback Jayden Daniels, hugging him after the Washington Commanders lost to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday.

Tiafoe had a successful run at the 2024 US Open, reaching his third consecutive quarterfinals in the Grand Slam tournament. He then made an All-American semifinal against fellow American Taylor Fritz, the first at a Grand Slam since Robby Ginepri and Andre Agassi in 2005.

Earlier in November, Tiafoe and Broomfield attended the NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. After the Chief's narrow win over the Broncos, the tennis players were seen engaging in fun times with pop icon Taylor Swift and her NFL player boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The trio posed for a selfie with the women pouting and the men being all smiles, as per Broomfield's Instagram post. The picture series also featured the couple overlooking the NFL field.
