Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has taken his off-court style to another level, earning the praise of fashion designer Vera Wang. Dimitrov recently announced his securing a multi-year partnership with Adidas.

Announced on January 8, 2025, this partnership sees Dimitrov joining the ranks of top-tier athletes such as Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jessica Pegula, and Elina Svitolina. Dimitrov is set to debut the innovative Adizero Ubersonic 5 shoes at the upcoming Australian Open in Melbourne. In April 2024, the World No. 10 changed his sneakers sponsor from Nike to Asics.

On January 9, 2025, Dimitrov took to Instagram to share the news with his fans. In a series of stylish photos, he is seen wearing a tuxedo paired with Adidas sneakers.

"It’s official! Lacing up with the 3-Stripes and ready for the 2025 season. Thrilled to be wearing @adidastennis shoes this season," Dimitrov wrote.

American fashion designer Vera Wang, whose net worth is estimated at around $650 million (according to celebritynetworth.com) commented on the post, congratulating him on his new partnership, writing:

"Congratulations!"

"I am thrilled to be a part of the Adidas family and join such an impressive line-up of athletes. In every meeting with the team, I could feel the passion for tennis and the ambition to create the best for the sport, and for those that play it."
"It gives confidence like no other to have a team like Adidas on your side – giving the ultimate sideline support. I am looking forward to all the great things we will achieve together in the coming years."

Grigor Dimitrov kicked off his 2025 tennis season at the Brisbane International, where he was the second seed. The 33-year-old defeated Yannick Hanfmann, Aleksander Vukic, and Jordan Thompson to secure a semifinal spot.

However, his run came to an unfortunate end. Due to groin and hip injuries, he was forced to retire against eventual champion Jiri Lehecka. Dimitrov is now set to compete in the 2025 Australian Open, which begins on January 12.
