Team USA men's flag bearer LeBron James recently hung out with his compatriots representing the women's tennis team which included Emma Navarro, Jessica Pegula, and Desirae Krawczyk on their nation's boat during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The tennis players accompanied Coco Gauff, who was the women's flag bearer for the Americans.

Navarro took to Instagram to share a selfie of herself alongside James, Pegula, and Krawczyk and referenced the iconic LeBron meme. The young American wrote:

"Smiling through it all! Can't believe this is my life."

This meme is accompanied by a photo of the basketball legend's famous social media post from some time back.

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to hilariously react to the fact that the NBA legend was the third richest person in the photo behind Navarro and Pegula, both of whom have fathers who are billionaires. While Jessica Pegula's father Terry has a net worth of $6.8 billion, Navarro's father Benjamin has a net worth of $1.5 billion. Meanwhile, LeBron James is valued at $1.2 billion.

Emma Navarro will begin her Olympic journey against Julia Grabher, Jessica Pegula to face Viktorija Golubic

Emma Navarro, who is making her Olympic debut, will compete in women's singles and will be seeded 11th. She will kick-off her quest for a medal against Austria's Julia Grabher, in what will be the first meeting between the two women.

Jessica Pegula, on the other hand, will face Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic in the opening round. Pegula, seeded sixth, has faced Golubic once in her career - at the 2022 US Open where she comfortably claimed the win.

Pegula will also be competing in the women's doubles alongside Coco Gauff and they will be the top seeds at the tournament. They kicked-off their run with a win against Australia's Daria Saville and Ellen Perez in the first round.
