Sebastian Korda has been at the receiving end of brutal trolling from fans after he picked Stefanos Tsitsipas in the mental facet for his "perfect tennis" player. The Greek has been a shadow of his past self over the last year, leading many to question whether he has what it takes to win Majors.

Tsitsipas recently fell to No. 11 in the world after being routed in straight sets by Carlos Alcaraz at the French Open a few weeks ago. Although the two-time Major finalist still has admirable traits in his game, as Sebastian Korda attested in his recent 'perfect player' challenge, he has seemingly fallen out of favor with fans lately.

On Thursday (June 27), the Instagram handle of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) uploaded a reel where the World No. 20 picked the best aspects of his ATP and WTA Tour peers' to create his ideal player. When Stefanos Tsitsipas' face came up, the American was quick to put him in the "mentality" section.

This greatly amused fans, some of whom began questioning Sebastian Korda's tennis knowledge. One fan wrote:

Another, meanwhile, joked that even the Greek's single-hander, which is currently considered one of the worst backhands in tennis, would perhaps have been a more fitting pick than his mental strength. They wrote:

"Tsitsipas backhand is better than his mentality."

Here are a few more reactions from fans:

"Tsitsipas mentality? For real? 😂," one fan replied.
"Tsitsipas mentality 😂😂😂😂," another joked.
"Bro had serve for Tsitsipas and really chose mentality," one fan wrote.
"bro really said Tsitsipas mentality 😭," another wrote.
"I'm not sure this guy watches tennis," one fan wrote.
"tsitsipas mentality gotta be the worst take i've ever seen 💀💀," wrote another.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was one of the best players on the ATP Tour in 2018–22, establishing himself as a regular fixture in the men's top 5 rankings. While he reached the final of the Australian Open last year, the 25-year-old's form fell off a cliff soon after.

Tsitsipas was particularly underwhelming after winning a 10th career title in Los Cabos last August, dropping 15 of his 35 matches up to February this year. Consequently, the former World No. 3 would fall outside the top 10 rankings for the first time since 2018.

Tsitsipas did, however, make plenty of amends by winning his third career ATP Masters 1000 title at Monte-Carlo in April, which facilitated his re-entry into the top-10. Seeded 11th at Wimbledon, the Greek will now be looking to go past the fourth round of the tournament for the first time in his career.
