Madison Keys was hilariously asked about the positives and negatives about her recent marriage with Bjorn Fratangelo, who also serves as the American's coach. Keys and Fratangelo's romantic relationship began in 2017, with the two announcing their engagement in March 2023. In the second half of November 2024, the couple finally got hitched.

Keys, the 2017 US Open runner-up, has been in fine form at the ongoing 2025 Australian Open. Her latest win in Melbourne came in the third round, where she locked horns with compatriot Danielle Collins. Keys was clinical on both her first and second serves, and also converted three out of six break point opportunities to oust Collins from the hardcourt Major and seal her own progress into the fourth round.

The penultimate question during Madison Keys' post-match, on-court interview saw Jelena Dokic ask the former World No. 7 about the pros and cons of her marriage with Fratangelo. Keys started with the positives, saying:

"It's great that we get to see each other. He used to play as well, so we would go long periods of time without seeing each other, so it's wonderful seeing him." (at 1:01)

However, she went on to hilariously reveal a particular con of her married life with Fratangelo.

"Having to admit that he's right isn't always my favorite thing, and it happens a lot more than I want it to, but I'm learning to just kind of nod and he just knows that I'm saying that he's right," Keys added.

After their wedding day, Fratangelo had penned his excitement at marrying Keys and spending the rest of their lives together.

In the immediate aftermath of Bjorn Fratangelo and Madison Keys' wedding, the former took to Instagram and shared a thankful post. Through the post, the former ATP player expressed his gratitude for everyone who attended the wedding and also laid bare his excitement at commencing married life with Keys.

"Can’t put into words how amazing this day was. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you @madisonkeys To everyone with us, you all made it beyond what we could have imagined. Love you all," Fratangelo wrote.

On the tennis front, Madison Keys awaits a tough test in the fourth round at the 2025 Australian Open, where she will face 2023 runner-up Elena Rybakina.
