For their remarkable achievement, they earned a winner's prize of $7,580 and secured 100 ATP points, solidifying their position in the doubles rankings.
The tournament's total prize pool was set at $133,250, highlighting the significance of each round in terms of financial rewards. The earnings of the players were contingent upon their progression through the rounds, with those reaching the latter stages reaping more substantial financial benefits.
Other Indian players’ earnings at the Seoul Open Challenger 2024
Apart from Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan; Divij Sharan, Anirudh Chandrasekar, and Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha were the other Indian players at the Seoul Open Challenger 2024 men's doubles.
Divij Sharan partnered Thailand player Pruchya Isaro while Anirudh Chandrasekar and Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha teamed up.
The Indo-Thailand pair of Sharan and his partner, Isaro, unfortunately made an early exit in the Round of 16. They lost to the team of Nicolás Moreno de Alboran and Rubin Statham, who defeated them 6-3, 7-5.
For their Round-of-16 appearance, Sharan and Isaro received $880 in prize money but did not earn any ATP points.
The Indian duo of Anirudh Chandrasekar and Kaliyanda Poonacha advanced to the quarterfinals after winning their opening-round clash. However, they fell short against the team of Nam Ji-sung and Paris J., who won the match 6-1, 6-3.
Chandrasekar and Poonacha earned $1,570 and 20 ATP points for their quarterfinal finish, adding valuable points to their ranking.
