Coco Gauff recently took pride in how far her tennis career has progressed as she amplified a fan-made video on her social media. The American also shut down her detractors while expressing her positive aspirations about her future prospects.

Gauff had a respectable campaign at this year's Australian Open. The 20-year-old dropped only one set en route to the quarterfinals, where she was upset by 11th-seeded Paula Badosa in straight sets. With her defeat, the World No. 3 failed to match her career-best result of reaching the last four in Melbourne (2023).

Gauff will now be focusing on the post-Australian Open hardcourt season that includes WTA 1000 events in Doha, Dubai, Indian Wells, and Miami. On Thursday (January 23), she looked ahead by taking to her X (formerly Twitter) to post a compilation video of the best moments of her career.

In the caption, the 2023 US Open champion expressed great joy in the laurels she has achieved thus far while conceding in the same breath that she only intends to get better. The song in the said video is "Like Him" by Tyler, the Creator, who is one of Gauff's favourite musicians.

"Very proud of myself idc what ya’ll say… a lot more to do but I am proud:heart: thank you for the edit @/alyatennxis on tik tok!," Coco Gauff wrote in the caption of her latest video on X.

The World No. 3 won her tenth career title earlier in January as she guided Team USA to its second United Cup title. Before her triumph at the team event, she had won the second biggest title of her young career at the WTA Finals in Riyadh last November.

On January 23, Coco Gauff also took to her Instagram account to post a photo of her in action at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. In the caption, she wrote a hearty message.

"Back to work."

The American subsequently received support from her mother, Candi, and track and field star Gabby Thomas in the replies to her post. Candi, who is usually present in her daughter's players' box during important matches, is also a former track and field athlete and currently works as a teacher.
