Novak Djokovic's wife, Jelena, recently caught the attention of fans with her stylish Lacoste jacket at the 2024 French Open. She humorously claimed she "knows a guy" when complimented on the jacket by a fan.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion is competing in the French Open for the 20th time in his career. Djokovic defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert with scores of 6-4, 7-6 (3), 6-4 in his first-round match on Tuesday.
After the Serb's first-round win, Jelena Djokovic reshared a post from a fan on Instagram about her presence in the stands. The fan also complimented her for receiving a Lacoste jacket that the sports company made available for fans at the French Open.
Jelena reshared the post and humorously captioned the picture by admitting that she didn’t really know the answers to the questions Lacoste posed to Djokovic’s fan base. She playfully joked that she got the jacket because of her relationship with the Serb.
“I got my jacket!! Although I didn't really know the answers to all the trick questions @lacoste made for #Nolefam but I know a guy,” Jelena Djokovic wrote.
Jelena also praised the Serb's performance on Tuesday in her Instagram story by reposting a collage made by a fan. The fan referred to the World No.1 as Spider-Man because of his skill on the court and his red Lacoste kit.
The 24-time Grand Slam winner has been an ambassador for the French fashion and sports equipment brand Lacoste since 2017. Other tennis stars who are also ambassadors for Lacoste include Daniil Medvedev, Arthur Fils, Bernarda Pera, and Grigor Dimitrov, among others.
