Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle expressed her admiration for South Korean shooter Kim Yeji, who is competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics and has secured a medal for her country. Yeji is a pistol shooter, who won a silver medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event in Paris, while her compatriot and roommate, Oh Ye-jin, took home the gold.
Yeji recently gained popularity on social media after a video of her from the 2024 ISSF World Cup went viral. She won three medals at the World Cup, including a gold in the women's 25-meter pistol event in Baku, where she also set a world record by scoring 42. Yeji then won a silver in the 10-meter air pistol event in Baku and a bronze in the 25-meter pistol event in Munich.
Kim Yeji sported an all-black ensemble, a backwards baseball cap, and had a calm and casual demeanor while shooting at the targets in Baku. The shooter's style, success and charisma have gained her fans worldwide, including Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle.
Riddle took to social media and shared a couple of photos of Yeji from her time at the World Cup in Baku and expressed her admiration for the South Korean shooter.
Riddle declared that Kim Yeji has been the highlight of the 2024 Paris Olympics for her and even jokingly expressed that she might be in love with Yeji.
"My favorite part of the Olympics so far has been discovering Kim Yeji," Riddle captioned her Instagram story.
"How is this a real person, I think I'm in love," she added.

Fritz made his debut at the Olympics in Paris. He has been selected to compete in all three events: singles, men's doubles with Tommy Paul, and mixed doubles with Coco Gauff.
In the singles event, Taylor Fritz was seeded seventh and started strong by defeating Alexander Bublik 6-4, 6-4 in the first round. He then went on to beat Jack Draper 6-7(3), 6-3, 6-2 in the second round before falling to 11th seed Lorenzo Musetti 4-6, 5-7 in the third round.
In the men's doubles, Fritz and Paul are seeded third and began their campaign by defeating the Canadian duo of Milos Raonic and Felix Auger-Aliassime 7-6(14), 6-4 in the opening round. They will next face Dutchmen Robin Haase and Jean-Julien Rojer in the second round.
For the mixed doubles, Taylor Fritz and Coco Gauff are seeded third and started their campaign by defeating the Argentinian duo of Maximo Gonzalez and Nadia Podoroska 6-1, 6-7 (6), 10-5 in the first round. They will next go up against the Canadian pair of Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gabriela Dabrowski in the quarterfinals.
