Carlos Alcaraz 'channeling' his inner Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2024 US Open Fan Week's Arthur Ashe Day has impressed fans. The Spaniard hit the Portuguese football legend's iconic 'siu' celebrations after netting a goal at the event.
Alcaraz is currently preparing to kick off his campaign at the final Grand Slam of the year - the US Open. The Spaniard has had a phenomenal season so far having won the Indian Wells Masters, the French Open, Wimbledon, and an Olympic silver, and will look to complete a calendar Surface Slam at the New York Major.
The 21-year-old has been participating in the US Open Fan Week events including the Stars of the Open, where he teamed up with Andre Agassi to take on Novak Djokovic and John McEnroe, and also the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, where he tackled fun challenges as he faced popular YouTube group Dude Perfect.
During a challenge, the Spaniard hit a football-sized tennis ball over the net to put it inside the goal on the other side and proceeded to hit Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic 'siu' celebration. The Portuguese legend is one of the most decorated players in the history of the football club Real Madrid, which is the club Alcaraz supports.
