Iga Swiatek's psychologist, Daria Abramowicz, unveiled a meaningful tattoo commemorating the Polish tennis star's Olympic bronze medal. The tattoo features the date Swiatek secured the medal on the iconic Roland Garros clay in August 2024.

Taking to Instagram, Abramowicz looked back at 2024 with a carousel of images including the image of her tattoo inked on her arm (on the second slide). It is a minimalist design featuring the Eiffel Tower, symbolizing Paris, and two dates: 2/8/24 and 7/8/24.

Tattoo artist Dominika Gajewska also posted about the art on Abramowicz's arm claiming that it relates "to a promise made at the Paris Games."

The first date marks Iga Swiatek's bronze medal victory in tennis at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The second date appears to commemorate Aleksandra Mirosław's gold medal win in the women's Speed climbing event at the same Olympics.

Abramowicz played a key role in both achievements. According to a report by TVP Sport, Mirosław credited Abramowicz with helping her overcome severe anxiety in the nine months leading up to the Games. Mirosław developed new mental preparation techniques and strategies through their collaboration, which she described as a pivotal "brick added to the gold."

At Paris 2024, Swiatek, a four-time French Open champion, entered as the favorite in tennis but lost in the semifinals to Zheng Qinwen. She rebounded brilliantly to secure bronze, earning Poland’s first-ever Olympic tennis medal.

Meanwhile, Mirosław shattered her own world record twice in women’s Speed climbing, clocking an incredible 6.06 seconds in qualifying. She then claimed gold in the final, defeating China’s Deng Lijuan with a time of 6.10 seconds.

This tattoo not only celebrates the triumphs of these athletes but also highlights Abramowicz’s influential role in their success.

Iga Swiatek has been working with her full-time psychologist Daria Abramowicz since she was a teenager. The Warsaw native has helped the five-time Grand Slam champion to several achievements.

In an interview with Tennis365 in March, Swiatek was asked if she ever stops thinking about tennis.

"Yes, I’ve been working with a psychologist for a few years now to help me with my game and my general well-being, concentration, work-life balance, so I feel like I’m in a good place now and I’m able to switch off mentally when I need it. But of course, it’s life and it’s constant work to stay on the right track and take care of yourself," Iga Swiatek said.

The 23-year-old recently faced a doping controversy after failing a drug test in August, which led to a one-month suspension. Having served her ban, she has returned to competitive tennis and is currently representing Poland at the United Cup. Poland advanced to the quarterfinals after securing group-stage victories over Norway and the Czech Republic.
