Coco Gauff has shared updates about the reading challenge she had set for 2024. The 20-year-old shared the updates through a series of stories that she uploaded on Instagram.
Gauff, the former U.S. Open winner, has enjoyed a very fruitful 2024 so far, having already won two trophies. She successfully defended her ASB Classic title against Elina Svitolina. The American also won her first Grand Slam title in the doubles category with Katerina Siniakova by winning the 2024 French Open. They defeated Italy's Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.
Gauff recently took to Instagram to share a unique reading challenge she had set for 2024. In one of the Instagram stories, the 20-year-old shared that she had already completed half of the challenge by reading 12 books. Gauff even shared the names of the books she had finished reading.
"Halfway through my reading challenge this year," she wrote while also adding a laughing emoji.
In another story, the World No. 2 revealed the other books that she had read.
"The other half of the book that I've read so far this year, that didn't show in the last story picture. In case anyone cared, which you probably don't lol. But still going to share," she wrote, adding some humour along the way.
The 2024 French Open semifinalist added yet another Instagram story, showcasing the book she is currently reading. She also revealed her interest in fictional and dystopian fantasy books.
"This is the last book story I promise lol but this is my most recent read. I love fiction and dystopian fantasy so definitely recommend this series!" she wrote.
"(Fourth wing is the name of the first book so you should start with that one and then read this one.) let me warn you though the books are loonggg both are 500+ pages with a high word count lol so give yourself time to finish if you're trying to reach a reading goal," she added.
