Anna Kournikova recently wished her partner Enrique Iglesias on the occasion of Father's Day (June 16). Iglesias is a singer-songwriter known for songs like Hero, Bailando, and Do You Know?

Kournikova started dating Iglesias in 2001 after she made an appearance in his song, Escape's music video. They have three children together, fraternal twins, a son and a daughter (born in 2017), and another daughter (born in 2020).

The former World No. 8 has maintained a low profile on social media, as she rarely posts pictures on Instagram. However, on Father's Day, the Russian tennis star took to Instagram to show a rare insight into her personal life. She shared pictures of her partner, Iglesias, with their kids. She also took this moment to wish all the fathers a happy Father's Day.

"Happy Father’s Day to my man @enriqueiglesias 😍 And to All the Dad’s!!! ❤️❤️❤️," she wrote.

During the course of her career, Anna Kournikova was ranked as high as World No. 8 but never managed to win a singles title on the WTA Tour. She reached the 1998 Miami Open final, her first WTA Tour singles final, but lost to Venus Williams. In 2001, injuries began to plague her career. Even though she enjoyed success in the years after 2001, she could not fulfill her potential in singles.

However, she had a flourishing doubles career, winning two Australian Open titles while partnering with the former Swiss player, Martina Hingis. She also won the WTA Finals in 1999 and 2000. The Russian also reached the World No. 1 spot in the doubles category. She won 16 titles in doubles, ending her career with a 200-71 win-loss record. She retired in 2003, playing her last match in an ITF tournament in Charlottesville.

In 2023, Anna Kournikova's partner, Enrique Iglesias, sat down for an interview with People and talked about how the music video of his song, Escape, changed his life. He mentioned that the couple understood each other's world

"(The video changed my life) in ways that I didn’t even think about. When we met — although she came from the sports world — in a way, we kind of got each other. She knew what my world was like. I kind of knew what her world was like. So that understanding helped a lot," he said.

He also discussed his relationships with his three children, including how they use his songs as a way to unwind after a fight.

"When I pick them up from school and they're having a bad day or one of them is crying or they're fighting, we say, 'Guys, what's your favorite song?' And then one breaks out into 'I Like It,' and then they all start singing it, and it's so cute," he said.
