In Pictures: Aryna Sabalenka & boyfriend Georgios Frangulis enjoy 'best offseason' of their lives surrounded by friends & family

Aryna Sabalenka’s winning momentum from the latter half of the 2024 season has carried into her offseason. The Belarusian tennis star has been spending time with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, and enjoying the company of friends and family. She described this period as the "best offseason" of her life.

Sabalenka ended her 2024 season as the World No. 1 winning two WTA 1000 titles and a Grand Slam since August. The 26-year-old, who has traveled with her boyfriend Frangulis across the globe this year for tennis purposes, is finally enjoying time with him off the court.

Soon after facing defeat in the semifinals of the WTA Finals but confirming her year-end World No. 1 rank, Sabalenka and Frangulis enjoyed a romantic getaway in Paris. They also met with Frangulis' brother Pedro during a lunch outing in Miami.

Most recently, Frangulis posted a carousel of images on Instagram sharing what the couple has been up to in the offseason. There were images of them meeting up with former Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa. Frangulis' venture Oakberry, one of the biggest Acai brands in the world, is a sponsor of the Haas F1 team.

Further, the images included one from their visit to the Miami Heat game in the NBA. The couple had courtside tickets. There were also several images of them with their friends and families. Frangulis captioned the post:

"Off season is a good season"

Sabalenka commented under the post:

"The best off season in my life ❤️❤️❤️te amo meu 🦧💜😂❤️"

Aryna Sabalenka opened up about how boyfriend Georgios Frangulis helped her through a "tough period" in her life

In an interview with PEOPLE, after her US Open triumph in September, Aryna Sabalenka opened up about the importance of her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis in her life.

"There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff," Aryna Sabalenka said.

"But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side," she added.

Sabalenka began 2024 with a bang by winning the Australian Open but faced a difficult time in her life personally and professionally. Her ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov passed away in March (the cause of death being reported as 'apparent suicide').

Sabalenka then had to withdraw from the Wimbledon Championships and the Olympics due to injuries before pulling off a fantastic comeback in the hardcourt swing. She won the Cincinnati Open, the US Open, and the Wuhan Open to topple Iga Swiatek and earn the year-end top spot.
