Aryna Sabalenka and her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis expressed their love for each other as the couple enjoyed a warm welcome in Beijing ahead of her campaign at the 2024 China Open. Sabalenka spent some time exploring the city alongside her boyfriend and also met up with her friend Paula Badosa, who will also be competing at the event.

After a highly successful North American hard-court swing where she clinched the Cincinnati Opena and her maiden US Open title, the World No. 2 took a breather to recharge herself ahead of the final stretch of the season. The 26-year-old is slated to play at the China Open next, where she will be the top seed.

Sabalenka has arrived in Beijing ahead of her campaign and is currently enjoying some time together with her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis exploring the city. She took to Instagram to share some of her highlights from her time in China so far and thanked the nation for a 'warm welcome'. The Belarusian shared a few images with her boyfriend.

Sabalenka also met up with her friend Paula Badosa at the China Open player reception, who will also compete at the WTA 1000 event. She could also be seen signing autographs for her fans after a practice session in a clip.

"Thank you for the warm welcome China 🇨🇳🫶," she captioned her post.

Under the post, Georgios Frangulis professed his love for Aryna Sabalenka.

"Alyna I love youu," Frangulis commented.

Sabalenka responded,

"Zhu I love you too," Sabalenka commented.

Paula Badosa also commented on the post with heart and heart-for-eye emojis.

Georgios Frangulis is a Brazilian businessman who began dating the tennis star in April earlier this year. He founded Oakberry in December 2016, a brand that produces acai products.

On September 9, merely days after her US Open triumph, Aryna Sabalenka wished her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis a happy birthday on Instagram where she thanked him for his 'priceless' support.

"Happy birthday meu amor, I’m so lucky to have you by my side. Your support is priceless 🦖🐒❤️💜❤️," Sabalenka captioned.

Seeded first at the China Open., the Belarusian will receive a bye in the opening round and will play the winner of the match between Zarina Diyas and Mananchaya Sawangkaew in the second round.

Aryna Sabalenka will enter the WTA 1000 event at the back of back-to-back titles at the Cincinnati Open and the US Open. The 26-year-old reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in 2023 before losing to Elena Rybakina.
