Aryna Sabalenka is enjoying her getaway in Dubai with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis. The couple recently shared photos from their dinner date and flaunted their elegant Audemars Piguet watches.
Sabalenka has shown impressive form in 2024. Despite injury setbacks that forced her to miss most of the grass-court swing, the Belarusian returned stronger, capturing three titles, including two Masters 1000 events and the US Open. She had earlier won the Australian Open in January.
Her remarkable form recently earned her the No. 1 spot in the WTA rankings. The 26-year-old is now gearing up for her fourth consecutive WTA Finals appearance, scheduled from November 2-9 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Sabalenka is currently out of action and is spending quality time with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, in Dubai. The World No. 1 previously gave fans a glimpse of her routine on Instagram from their luxurious getaway.
The Belarusian and her boyfriend recently went for a dinner date in Dubai. Sabalenka shared several pictures on her Instagram story, including one where the couple posed together, captioned:
"Dinner out"
In another picture, the couple could be seen at a restaurant, adorably holding hands and showcasing their luxurious Audemars Piguet watches during their dinner date. Sabalenka wrote,
"@audemarspiguet family"
Frangulis shared another picture on his Instagram, casually dressed in pajama pants alongside Aryna Sabalenka. He wrote in the caption,
"Pajama pants are the best pants,"
While in Dubai, Sabalenka also shared a few pictures of her new Nike sneakers on social media.
"Happy to have him by my side" - When Aryna Sabalenka spoke about her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis
Speaking with People magazine in September, Aryna Sabalenka expressed her happiness at having Frangulis by her side, saying he always lifts her spirits.
She said,
“I am really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff."
Sabalenka emphasized the importance of prioritizing her happiness over tennis, highlighting Frangulis as her strongest supporter during challenging times in her career.
“But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side."
Frangulis has consistently shown his support for the Belarusian from the stands. He joined Sabalenka in Wuhan to celebrate her victory at the WTA 1000 event there.
Sabalenka, set to compete at the WTA Finals, will be joined by the world's top eight players, including Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and Jasmine Paolini.
