This year, the singles event at the ATP Finals will feature players like Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, and Alex de Minaur alongside Alcaraz, Sinner, and Zverev.

Among these eight players, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev have both claimed the season-ending title in the past. The German won it twice, first in 2018 by defeating Novak Djokovic in the final, and then again in 2021 by overcoming Daniil Medvedev. Medvedev, on the other hand, clinched the ATP Finals title in 2020 by triumphing over Dominic Thiem.

Ahead of beginning their campaign at the 2024 ATP Finals, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and others walked the blue carpet at Piazza Carlo Alberto in stunning suits. The players then went on to pose with the tournament's trophy.

Alcaraz will kick off his campaign by facing Casper Ruud in the first group-stage match. The Spaniard has a perfect record against Ruud, having won all four of their previous encounters.
