Caroline Wozniacki may have bowed out of the 2024 Summer Olympics in the second round, but that did not stop her from having a memorable time in Paris. Wozniacki shared some of the highlights of her "unforgettable" week in the City of Lights.

Wozniacki, who was making her fourth Olympic appearance, had high hopes of winning a medal for Denmark, but she faced a tough challenge in the second round in the form of American Danielle Collins, who is ranked ninth in the world. The American prevailed over Wozniacki with the score of 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, ending the latter’s Olympic dream.

Despite the loss, Wozniacki did not let it dampen her mood. The 34-year-old posted a series of photos on her Instagram account, showing her various activities and experiences in Paris.

In the pictures she can be seen posing in front of a giant Olympic logo, Danish fans cheering her during one of her matches, she and her husband David Lee posing with former Spanish basketball player Pau Gasol and his wife Catherine, flaunting her Olympic pin collection from different countries, and at last posing with her close friend Serena Williams.

"Thank you Paris for an unforgettable week! The Danish fans came out in full force, truly the best support I have ever heard! Staying in the Olympic Village with the Danish team was so cool, and I got to spend time with new and old friends!" Wozniacki wrote.

Caroline Wozniacki, known for her cheerful demeanor both on and off the court, discussed this perception in a recent interview with Peter Falktoft.

"I remember Caroline, you were such big news that you were real news, not just sports news. Everyone in New York walked around saying, 'Miss Sunshine, Miss Sunshine, Miss Sunshine,'" hw asked.

The interviewer inquired whether Wozniacki agreed with the "Miss Sunshine" label and the media's portrayal of her over the past decade as the "happiest" tennis player ever.

"I don’t know if I’m the 'happiest tennis player,' but I like to think I’m enjoying life pretty well. I’m also very satisfied with the life I’ve chosen," Wozniacki said.

Caroline Wozniacki also reflected on her journey and said that she enjoys working hard and being on the stage, playing well, and delighting the crowds.
