Eugenie Bouchard has embraced the festive spirit by venturing on a wintry excursion with her friends to gather Christmas decorations. The Canadian picked up some charming pieces and added a personal touch by naming them.
Bouchard, who transitioned to professional pickleball last year, has been active on the PPA tour, frequently sharing highlights from her time on the court on social media. Despite her busy schedule, the 30-year-old took the time to enjoy the holidays, celebrating Halloween in style by dressing up as Cher Horowitz from the movie 'Clueless,' and transforming into Christina Aguilera.
With Christmas just around the corner, Eugenie Bouchard joined her friends for a festive shopping trip in New York. The Canadian proudly showed off her purchase of a "large" wooden reindeer with its two smaller "children," as she and her friends carried the oversized decorations down the streets of Soho.
"Just girls trying to find christmas decorations," Bouchard captioned her Instagram post.
The former World No. 5 also revealed that she had adorably named the family of reindeer Jonathan, Jeffrey, and Jamal.
"Leaving w jonathan & jeffrey," she posted on her Instagram story.

In addition to indulging in holiday preparations, Bouchard is also gearing up for Pickleball Slam 3, where she will join forces with Andy Roddick to take on the defending champions, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, in Las Vegas.
Eugenie Bouchard accuses Andre Agassi of being "scared" as he and Steffi Graf reveal their strategy to target Andy Roddick in Pickleball Slam 3
With the much-awaited Pickleball 3 scheduled for February 16, 2025, Eugenie Bouchard and Andy Roddick's entertaining banter with their rivals Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf has increased.
Given Bouchard's experience in professional pickleball, Agassi recently conceded that the Canadian would be the most comfortable player on the court during their showdown in Las Vegas.
"For me, the calculus is knowing that she’s going to be the only one out there in that competitive environment, who has learned how to manage her blood pressure and nerves and energy right," Andre Agassi said.
"In tennis, you have the luxury of transferring that energy with your feet and hitting through your shot and having physical control. In pickle, you have to have a lot of urgency, but then you have to calm yourself down," he added.
Acknowledging the Canadian's "big advantage," the eight-time Grand Slam champion revealed his and Graf's plan to exploit the relative "weakness" of her partner, Andy Roddick.
"I think the plan is to always go after the weakness so I think we’re going to play her as little as possible. We’re going to check Andy’s oil," Agassi said.
Eugenie Bouchard reacted to Andre Agassi's remarks with humor, playfully accusing the former World No. 1 of "sounding scared."
"@agassi sounds scared," Bouchard posted on her Instagram story.
The Canadian recently shared another tongue-in-cheek response to Agassi dismissing Roddick while labeling her as a "great of the game."
