Eugenie Bouchard made an appearance this week at Star Island in Miami, celebrating Halloween in a look inspired by "Clueless." Bouchard was dressed up in the signature look of Cher Horowitz, the pivotal character of "Clueless" played by Alicia Silverstone. The rom-com hit theaters back in 1995 and is still widely regarded as one of the best teen comedy films ever made.
Eugenie Bouchard made her WTA Tour-level debut in 2011. The Canadian soon garnered a fearsome reputation for herself, aided by her aggressive groundstrokes. Despite having a considerable amount of unforced errors in her game, she stuck to her playing style, which eventually yielded a runner-up finish at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships.
The Canadian also reached a career-high ranking of World No. 5 in her prime in 2014. Since then though, Eugenie Bouchard's form has fallen off and her participation on the WTA Tour has become infrequent.
Off the court, she continues to attend social events. Recently, Bouchard arrived at Star Island in Miami for a Halloween party. She wore a canary yellow dress and paired it with a black-and-yellow chequered jacket and skirt. The Canadian also sported knee-high white socks and a pair of white shoes. She accessorized her look with a fluffy white bag.
Bouchard's look was similar to that of Cher Horowitz, the lead character in the 1995 film "Clueless."

Despite her infrequent tennis outings, Bouchard continues to keep a close eye on developments in the sport. Earlier this year, she came out in defense of US Open finalist Jessica Pegula after the latter received criticism following her defeat in the final to Aryna Sabalenka.
Eugenie Bouchard slammed critics of Jessica Pegula's billionaire status after 2024 US Open final
Jessica Pegula was subject to harsh criticism following her loss to Aryna Sabalenka in the 2024 US Open final. Much of the criticism revolved around Pegula's billionaire status as the American is the daughter of the owners of Buffalo Bills, Terry and Kim Pegula.
Bouchard spoke out against such opinions in the aftermath of Pegula's US Open final loss. The Canadian took to X (formerly Twitter) to say that money has absolutely nothing to do with the American's qualities.
Bouchard wrote,
"Money can’t buy a US Open final lol,"
Bouchard herself has switched between tennis and pickleball this season. The Canadian's latest tennis outing was at the qualifiers of the National Bank Open in Toronto, where she lost to Japan's Moyuka Uchijima.
