Eugenie Bouchard celebrated her favorite holiday in style as she continued her annual tradition of donning a green bikini for St. Patrick's Day.

On St. Patrick's Day in 2018, Bouchard revealed that she is in fact a quarter Irish and has been celebrating her Irish heritage ever since.

"Pub in Ireland last year. Visiting family and the beautiful countryside. 1/4 Irish and proud. Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone," she wrote at the time.

The 2014 Wimbledon finalist celebrated the holiday by continuing her annual tradition of posing in a green bikini while reclining on a tree, and also while relaxing by a pool.

"Annual green bikini pic in honor of my fav holiday," she captioned the post.

The Canadian kept the tradition going by wearing "green all day" as she went about her training. She documented how she was all decked out in green from her cap down to even her shoes.

Eugenie Bouchard underwent shoulder surgery in 2021 that kept her off the WTA tour for 17 months until her return in August 2022 at the WTA 125 tournament in Vancouver. She played nine tournaments within a three-month period in 2022 to attain the ranking of World No. 327 after becoming unranked due to her long absence from the tour.

Speaking to the WTA ahead of the 2023 season, Bouchard was confident about being able to play a full schedule in 2023.

“I played three months straight from August until November, and I didn’t have any issues with my shoulder. After playing a lot, sometimes you’ll get a little bit tight, but it’s very normal and expected. I’m really looking forward to a full 2023 schedule,” Bouchard said.

However, when she competed at the ASB Classic in January 2023 she was forced to withdraw from the tournament ahead of her second qualifying match due to a bout of food poisoning.

She took part in the qualifying round of the 2023 Australian Open next where she lost her opening match to Ashlyn Krueger. She is currently ranked 319 in the world.

Despite not competing at the 2023 BNP Paribas Open, Eugenie Bouchard has been watching the tournament play out. She recently praised the thrilling fourth-round contest between Jessica Pegula and Petra Kvitova. Kvitova narrowly defeated Pegula in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(11), successfully converting her fourth match point after saving four match points of her own during the match.
