Holger Rune gave his fans a look at his stylish side, appearing in a recent photoshoot for leading Danish publication Borsen. Dressed in all-black, Rune appeared on the cover of the latest issue of Borsen Pleasure.
Two of Rune's biggest successes in a short career so far have come in Paris. He reached his maiden Grand Slam quarterfinal at last year's French Open, before shocking many top players, including Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, to clinch his maiden Masters 1000 title at the Rolex Paris Masters in November.
Adding to his memories of France is the Borsen photoshoot, conducted by photographer Rasmus Weng Karlsen in Monaco on the French Riviera. Dressed in casual attire, Holger Rune's fashion game was on-point.
"In the past year, Holger Rune has gone from being number 103 to number 10 on the list of the world's best tennis players. Meet a young man who can do something quite unusual in Pleasure today," read an Instagram post on the same from Borsen Pleasure.
After a heartbreaking exit from the Australian Open, where he lost a five-set thriller to Andrey Rublev in a match tiebreaker which was decided by a net cord in Rublev's favor, Rune quickly put the disappointment behind himself by helping Denmark beat India in a Davis Cup world group tie with two singles wins and a doubles win.
The World No. 9 will return to tour-level action at the Open Sud de France in Montpellier on Thursday, with a match against Marc-Andrea Huesler. Rune is the top seed in Montpellier.

Reacting to the same, his coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who is Serena Williams' former coach, praised Rune's rapid rise at the highest level in the sport.
"Impressive growth," Mouratoglou wrote.
With very few points to defend over the next couple of months, Rune will fancy his chances of further climbing up the rankings. He currently sits 364 points behind world No. 8 Taylor Fritz and 669 points behind Felix Auger-Aliassime, who is at No. 7.
