Naomi Osaka was spotted in a chic outfit while exploring the streets of Auckland, New Zealand. The Japanese tennis star will be beginning her 2025 season at the ASB Classic in Auckland.
Taking to Instagram, Osaka shared several images of herself posing on the streets of Auckland. She exuded a playful yet chic vibe with her stylish outfit, blending casual and trendy elements. She paired a black graphic Nike t-shirt adorned with artistic designs with a white jacket.
A ruffled black mini-skirt brought flair to the look, while her choice of accessories elevated the attire. Osaka carried a vibrant, floral-patterned handbag and wore chunky white shoes adorned with oversized ribbon bows. Further, a pink and white patterned baseball cap added a sporty edge to her look.

Naomi Osaka encountered an unexpected coincidence at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand. Taking to her Instagram Story, the Japanese tennis star revealed she was playing on a court with her mother's name on it.
"I made it to New Zealand. But look, it says Tamaki. Well, it says Tamaki Makaurau. But anyways, mom, I know you're going to see this. My mom's first name is Tamaki. Mom, look I am playing on a court that has your name on it," Naomi Osaka said.
After going on a maternity hiatus in 2023, Osaka returned to action this year. She had a rocky season with inconsistency being her major issue.
The 27-year-old, however, did pull off a huge jump in the rankings. She started 2024 ranked World No. 833 but ended the season with a 22-18 win-loss record ranked at World No. 58. She will begin her 2025 season at the ASB Classic in Auckland, an event she has expressed excitement to play at.
"I am looking forward to just embracing the nature of Auckland and of course, playing in a tournament that I have not played in for a long time. I am excited to return to Auckland for the ASB Classic 2025," she said (via ASB Classic).
The event will boast Grand Slam-winning stars, including Emma Raducanu, Sloane Stephens, and Sofia Kenin. Madison Keys will be the top seed followed by Elise Mertens of Belgium and Amanda Anisimova of the USA, with Osaka seeded seventh.
