Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena Djokovic is having a blast in Paris amid the Serb's quest for his record 25th Grand Slam title at the 2024 French Open. The humanitarian shared a few pictures of her Paris adventures, showing how she balances her role as a supportive spouse and a fun-loving traveler.

Top seed and defending champion advanced to the third round of the French Open with a 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 win over Roberto Carballes Baena.

Jelena and Novak have been married since 2014 and have two children together: six-year-old Tara and nine-year-old Stefan. They met in high school in their native Serbia and have been together ever since, through the Serb’s rise to the top of the tennis world and Jelena’s pursuit of her education and philanthropy.

The 37-year-old is the director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Serbia through education and sports. Jelena often accompanies the World No. 1 to his tournaments and cheers him on from the stands. She is also very active on social media, where she shares photos and videos of their family, their pets, and their travels.

In her latest Instagram post, she shared a few pictures of her Paris adventures, where she can be seen posing inside a Roland Garros cafe, wandering in the streets of Paris and visiting famous landmarks such as Arc de Triomphe, posing with a poster of her husband, and being stuck in the middle of an outpouring rain.

"From Paris with love," Jelena wrote on Instagram.

Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena opened up about the judgment she faced for not fitting into the common image of wives of sportsmen in a 2020 interview with Graham Bensinger.

"Basically, as a woman, you are not allowed to speak up a lot, you are not allowed to show up a lot," Jelena said (at 7:30). "There is this stereotype about who is the wife of an athlete, how she should look like, how she should behave, and I don't fit very well into that stereotype. I am glad I don't because I don't need to. But it was hard because I was judged because of it."

Jelena said she attempted to blend in by pretending to like things she didn’t, but then she learned to be authentic and defy the stereotypes.

"I was trying to conform at first because I was meant to be interested in fashion, I was meant to be interested in looks, you know, different kinds of things and that's all fun, but it just doesn't inspire me," she said (at 7:54).
"So, I had to invent my place and that was a competition like, 'I'm gonna prove you know.' I'm gonna prove something that we can be at other things than just a girlfriend or just a wife," she continued.
