Rafael Nadal's sister, Maribel, recently enjoyed some time away on the water with her friends. She was sailing around the picturesque views of Port de Pollenca.

Maribel pursued her passion for sports by studying Motor and Sport Sciences at the INEFC center in Barcelona. She then followed it up by completing her master's degree in sports management from Pompeu Fabra University. Currently, she holds a position in the marketing and sales department at the Rafa Nadal Academy.

Most recently, Maribel took to social media to share some glimpses of her getaway to Port de Pollenca for what looked like a bachelorette party for one of her girlfriends. She shared a video of herself floating on the water aboard a yacht or sailing boat, as well as a photo of her and her friends on the watercraft.

She frequently accompanies the former World No. 1's wife, Maria Francisca Perello, and their baby son to the tournaments. She also never fails to show her support for her brother in his business endeavors and often takes to social media to express her support.

Team Spain, on the back of Carlos Alcaraz's heroics, secured their spot in the last eight by defeating Australia, France, and the Czech Republic. The Spanish team will consist of Rafael Nadal, Alcaraz, Pablo Carreno Busta, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Marcel Granollers, with David Ferrer serving as the team's captain.

Alcaraz and the 22-time Grand Slam champion teamed up for the first time in doubles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. They managed to advance to the quarterfinals before falling to the eventual silver medalists, Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram. The Spanish duo will once again have the opportunity to represent Spain in doubles at the Davis Cup Finals knockout stages.

In the quarterfinals, Spain will face the Netherlands, whose lineup includes the likes of Tallon Griekspoor, Botic van de Zandschulp (who caused an upset by defeating former US Open champion, Carlos Alcaraz in the second round of the 2024 US Open), Jesper de Jong, and Wesley Koolhof.

The winner between Spain and the Netherlands will advance to face either Germany or Canada in the semifinals, scheduled for November 22 and 23, 2024.
