In Pictures: Serena Williams exudes power in dazzling red shirt dress, shows off new curled locks at Vogue event in Miami

Serena Williams, 23-time Grand Slam champion and former World No. 1, dazzled in a chic red shirt dress at a Vogue100 and WYN Beauty event in Miami, Florida. Founded by Serena Williams, WYN Beauty is popular for its under $30 makeup items.

She posted several pictures from the event, where she wore a red shirt-like dress, paired with tight blonde curls.

"Had an incredible time connecting with so many inspiring women at the Vogue100 x Wyn event in beautiful Palm Beach!," she wrote in the caption.

In a video, Williams detailed her preparations before heading to the Miami event.

“When I was playing, you could be either strong or beautiful; you couldn’t be both,” Williams says in the video. “I wanted to kind of push that away and say no, you can be strong, and beautiful, and powerful, and amazing, and so that was how Wyn Beauty was born.”

The younger Williams sister has a massive following of over 17 million on Instagram, where she shares a lot about her interests and ventures outside tennis. Apart from becoming a successful entrepreneur, the tennis legend has also authored several books, including "On the Line" and "My Life: Queen of the Court:"

Williams retired from tennis in 2022, after that year's US Open, a tournament she has won six times. The American legend lost to Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round at Flushing Meadows, in what would be her last match.

Earlier this week, Serena Williams went for a family outing at Disneyland along with her husband Alexis Ohanian, her daughter Olympia, her mother Oracene, and sisters Venus and Lyndrea.

"There’s nothing like a quick family trip to @disneyparks,” the Grand Slam winner noted in a post, adding that “there no place like Disney.”

Since her retirement from tennis, Williams has reveled in her role as a mother, often highlighting moments spent with her family on her socials. She has two daughters (Olympia and Adria) with Ohanian, a co-founder of social media site Reddit and a successful entrepreneur in his own right.

“I think at some point you do have to choose if you want to have kids, but for me, I decided to choose being a mom,” she told Glamour magazine earlier this year.

Despite being away from the sport, Williams made appearances at the Olympics in Paris and the US Open this year.
