In Pictures: Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian share rare glimpses of baby daughter Adira in adorable social media debut

Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian's daughter Adira River made her debut on social media in an adorable fashion. The youngest daughter of the tennis sensation has now joined her elder sister Olympia, who has been active on social media since 2017.

Williams and Ohanian became parents for the second time when they welcomed their daughter Adira River on August 15 last year. They became parents for the first time on September 1, 2017, when they gave birth to Olympia.

Alexis Ohanian posted an adorable family photo, featuring him, Williams, and their two daughters, on his social media on August 22, 2023, to announce Adira's birth. He said that he was teeming with joy and felt 'grateful' over his second daughter's birth.

"Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful," Ohanian wrote.

The power couple doesn't usually share a lot of photos of Adira, unlike their firstborn. Olympia's Instagram debut came on September 14, 2017, just about two weeks after her birth and the account has ever since been chronicling her journey.

However, they have now shared some rare glimpses of their 14-month-old daughter Adira, who has made her Instagram debut. In a collaboration post with both her parents, there were adorable five photos posted.

The first one showed Serena Williams' youngest grabbing a bite in a pink-colored baby highchair followed by a bunch of her other adorable pictures just hanging around the house. The final photo showed Adira in a cute pink dress standing on top of a kid's sized white-colored slide.

"Oh hello there- I know it’s been over a year but I’m just getting to this," the post was captioned.

Serena Williams also posted an adorable video of herself and Adira in which she was trying to get her daughter to cuddle with her.

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, who is the co-founder of Reddit, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his pride in his two daughters Olympia and Adira. He said that being a father to two girls was an 'absolute blessing'.

"I'm so proud to be a father to two amazing little girls. An absolute blessing," Ohanian wrote.

Williams and Ohanian began dating each other in 2015. They met at the Cavalieri Hotel in Roma when the American tennis star was in town for the Italian Open. They got engaged a year later in 2016 and got married the next year on November 16, 2017, in New Orleans.
