Venus and Serena Williams continue to make waves off the tennis court, as they recently graced the Gucci Spring 2025 Menswear fashion show. The tennis greats attended the show, which was part of the Milan Fashion Week, with their mother Oracene Price and their half-sister Lyndrea Price.

Venus and Serena Williams were born in 1980 and 1981, respectively, to Richard Williams and Oracene. They have three half-sisters from their mother's first marriage and seven other half-siblings through their father, five of whom were born during his first marriage.

On Monday, two pictures from the Gucci Spring 2025 Menswear show were shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a fan. One of the pictures featured the 23-time Grand Slam champion wearing a blush pink Gucci suit, posing for a picture with Irish actor Paul Mescal.

The second picture was a family photo featuring Serena Williams and her sister Venus, who wore a white pencil skirt and a button-up top. Oracene Price wore blue denim trousers and a white dress shirt while Lyndrea donned a black, sleeveless gown.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Serena Williams applauded her parents' commitment and the push they gave her to achieve so much in her career. She also joked about not being able to replicate the same while raising her daughter Olympia.

"It also takes a lot of commitment from the parent, and that’s why I have so much respect for my mom and my dad. Because I was like, 'OK, Olympia, we’re going to play tennis every Wednesday.' And now I’m like, 'Ugh,'" she said.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams have always attributed their on-court success to their parents Richard Williams and Oracene Price, who introduced them to the sport. They were their first coaches before the family moved to Florida for them to attend Rick Macci’s tennis academy.

In the same interview, more questions about family were posed to the 42-year-old, including whether she discusses retirement with her elder sister Venus. She said:

"Venus loves tennis. I think the question would be best answered by her. I do not want to speak for her. But we both love tennis. Honestly, I feel like I would still be playing if I didn’t have to stop and have a family,” she said.

Venus Williams, who turned 44 on Monday (June 17), is still active on the WTA tour. This season, she competed in the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open, experiencing first-round exits in both tournaments.
