Fans reacted to Andrey Rublev, Alex de Minaur and Grigor Dimitrov pulling out from ATP 250 events right before the ATP Finals. This chain of withdrawals happened shortly after Novak Djokovic announcing that he would not compete at the year-end championships in Turin.

Of the many players in pursuit of the final qualification spots, only Casper Ruud is yet to withdraw. Following Novak Djokovic's withdrawal from the ATP Finals, Rublev, De Minaur, and Ruud have officially secured their qualification for the event. Three spots remained open ahead of the year-end championships, so the three were entered at the ATP 250 tournament in Metz to gain critical points, while De Minaur was scheduled to compete at the Serbia Open in Belgrade.

However, both Andrey Rublev and Alex de Minaur pulled out of their respective ATP 250 events, along with Dimitrov. With Rublev, De Minaur, and Ruud now qualified, Dimitrov holds the position of first alternate. Unlike his peers, Ruud is yet to withdraw from the Moselle Open and was recently spotted at a gala in Oslo.

Fans on X voiced frustration over several players pulling out from their events following Djokovic’s announcement, feeling let down by the sudden drop in competition.

"Novak djokovic hurting his hometown tourney by not playing turin. smh," one fan wrote.
"An injury right after Djokovic withdrew. That's convenient," another fan wrote.
"Again: the tournament deserves better spot in the calendar. Literally any other spot would be better. I hope the organizers and ATP will figure something out," a third fan wrote.

Here are some more reactions to the withdrawals of several top players after the Serb's ATP Finals announcement.

"The Race must stop after the f**king Bercy 1000," one fan wrote.
"As expected lol," another fan wrote.
"You can only laugh at this point," yet another fan wrote.
