Anna Kalinskaya has reportedly unfollowed Jannik Sinner on Instagram, just weeks after the couple was spotted happily vacationing together in Sardinia, Italy. This development has come to light during their respective campaigns at the 2024 Canadian Open.

Sinner confirmed that he was dating Kalinskaya during the French Open but emphasized his desire to keep their relationship "confidential."

"I'm with Anna [Kalinskaya], yes, but we keep everything very confidential, you know my confidentiality... I won't say more," Sinner said.

Nevertheless, the duo did not shy away from supporting each other during the claycourt Major, frequently cheering from each other's player boxes. They also demonstrated their bond on Instagram with a heartwarming interaction, as Kalinskaya expressed her pride in the World No. 1's French Open semifinal run, and he responded with a kiss emoji.

Their affectionate gestures continued into the grasscourt season, with Kalinskaya sharing her elation at reaching her maiden grass final on the same day as the Italian. Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner extended his heartfelt condolences to the Russian in his Halle Open victory speech, commiserating with her over her loss in the Berlin final.

The duo reunited at Wimbledon in high spirits, where they were captured joyfully sharing a laugh during a practice session. After Sinner's campaign ended in a quarterfinal loss to Daniil Medvedev and Kalinskaya was forced to retire with injury in her fourth-round clash, the duo took some time off to unwind in Sardinia, Italy, soaking up the sun and playfully swimming together in the sea.

Following their absence from the Paris Olympics, Jannik Sinner made his comeback at the ATP Masters 1000 Canadian Open in Montreal, while Anna Kalinskaya commenced her campaign in Toronto.

However, it is their relationship that has garnered the most attention and interest, as Kalinskaya unfollowed the World No. 1 on Instagram.

Entering the 2024 Canadian Open as the top seed and defending champion, Jannik Sinner has booked his place in the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 event with a commanding 6-2, 6-4 win over Borna Coric in his opening match.

The World No. 1 will continue his title defense against 15th seed Alejandro Tabilo in the Round of 16. If Sinner triumphs over the Chilean, he will face the winner of the match between Andrey Rublev and Brandon Nakashima in the quarterfinals.

Anna Kalinskaya, meanwhile, made a promising start to her campaign at the WTA 1000 event in Toronto, claiming dominant straight-set wins over Louisa Chirico and Lesia Tsurenko. However, she was forced to retire from her third-round clash against Amanda Anisimova with injury after losing the first set 6-2.
