Jannik Sinner confirmed his relationship with Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya after his first-round victory over Christopher Eubanks at the 2024 French Open. There were rumors about them dating, but those lacked validation until now.

Sinner's participation at the second Grand Slam of the year was uncertain due to a hip injury sustained during the Madrid Open, which led to his withdrawal from the tournament. Despite concerns, the reigning Australian Open champion decided to compete and commenced his campaign with a commanding 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Eubanks on May 27.

During his post-match press conference, the Italian was asked about his relationship with Kalinskaya, to which he replied affirmatively. However, he chose to remain tight-lipped afterwards and did not disclose any further details.

"I'm with Anna [Kalinskaya], yes, but we keep everything very confidential, you know my confidentiality... I won't say more," Sinner said (via Italian news agency ANSA).

Jannik Sinner also discussed his hip injury, saying:

"The hip is fine. There is no movement that causes me pain. The muscles just need to be awakened a little. We didn't have enough time to train the whole body after three weeks of complete stoppage. When you start again you can't go at full speed . I'm happy with how I served, I scored points here for the first time 5 days ago. I hope that as the days go by I will make some progress, but for now I am satisfied."

During Jannik Sinner's first-round match against Christopher Eubanks at the 2024 French Open, his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya was spotted in the audience, cheering him on. She was accompanied by her coach, Patricia Tarabini.

Sinner returned the favor and was seen supporting Kalinsaya during her tournament opener against Clara Burel just hours after confirming their relationship status.

While the exact duration of their relationship remains undisclosed, the couple have never hesitated to make public appearances or shy away from the paparazzi. They were seen together during Sinner's practice session in Roland-Garros on May 26, sharing sweet moments and laughs. Prior to that, reports indicated they were spotted enjoying a dinner outing in Paris.

Next up for Jannik Sinner at the French Open is a second-round encounter against Richard Gasquet on May 29. Meanwhile, Anna Kalinskaya will face the winner of the match between Bianca Andreescu and Sara Sorribes Tormo if she gets past Burel.
