Jannik Sinner's girlfriend Anna Kanlinskaya's brother Nikolay reacted to the Italian's Australian Open win on Sunday. The World No.1 beat Alexander Zverev in the final to win his third Grand Slam title.
Sinner was at his relentless best against the German and didn't face a break point en route a clinical 6-3, 7-6 (4), 5-3 victory. The 23-year-old was over the moon after winning his second consecutive Australian Open title as he wrote on Instagram:

The Italian received congratulatory messages from across the globe as well as Nikolay, the brother of his girlfriend, Russian player Anna Kalinskaya, with whom he shares a good bond. Congratulating the Sinner on his win, he posted:

Jannik Sinner and Anna went public with their relationship in May. While they have refrained from sharing details about their dating life, the couple were often spotted together and shared a kiss after the Italian's maiden US Open win last year. However, the Russian was absent at Sinner's Australian Open victory and hasn't publicly congratulated him yet.
Kalinskaya withdrew from the tournament due to a virus, Marie Claire Australia reported that the couple "might be taking a break", but they were practicing together before the Russian's withdrawal from the tournament.

Kalinskaya was scheduled to face Kimberly Birrell in the first round of women's singles but withdrew a few hours before the start of the match because of a viral illness. Meanwhile, Sinner started off his campaign with a win over Nicolas Jarry.
The 23-year-old downed the likes of Holger Rune, Ben Shelton and Alex de Minaur before beating Alexander Zverev in straight sets to defend his title. It marked the Italian's third Grand Slam title in five tournaments.
