Sinner confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya during his campaign at the French Open, while also emphasizing their desire to keep their relationship private.

"I'm with Anna [Kalinskaya], yes, but we keep everything very confidential, you know my confidentiality... I won't say more," Sinner said in a press conference after his first-round win.

Despite their desire for confidentiality, the couple has not shied away from being open about their support for one another's careers. Earlier this month, Anna Kalinskaya expressed her pride in the World No. 1's run to the semifinals of the French Open, which drew a warm response from the Italian.

They also showcased their mutual support by cheering from the stands during each other's matches at the claycourt Major.

Like Kalinskaya, Jannik Sinner has also kicked off his grasscourt season in Germany, making a winning start at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle. The 22-year-old mounted a comeback after losing the first set to claim a 6-7(8), 6-3, 6-2 victory over Tallon Griekspoor in the first round.

Anna Kalinskaya recently gushed over fellow tennis couple Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter for winning titles just hours apart from each other. The Russian has a chance to emulate the feat with her boyfriend Jannik Sinner as they continue their respective grasscourt campaigns.

Following his win over Griekspoor, Sinner will square off against Fabian Marozsan in the second round in Halle. The Italian will likely meet sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 event if he triumphs over Marozsan.

Kalinskaya, meanwhile, will face a tough test against reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova in the second round in Berlin. If the Russian emerges victorious against the Czech, she will face Aryna Sabalenka or Daria Kasatkina in a blockbuster quarterfinal clash at the WTA 500 event.
