Among his 10 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, he won the 2003 Wimbledon and Australian Open mixed doubles titles with Navratilova.

Paes reached a career-high ranking of No. 1 in the doubles category in June 1999 and won a total of 55 doubles titles before retiring in 2021 at the age of 48. At the ceremony, Vijay Amritraj and Richard Evans were also inducted into the Hall of Fame.
