Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was recently spotted at the 2024 Mallorca Championships. The German coach was in the stands to watch the final of the ATP 250 tournament between Alejandro Tabilo and Sebastian Ofner.

Jurgen Klopp departed from his role as the manager of English soccer giants Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season. He won eight trophies with the club, including the Premier League and the Champions League.

The German attended the Mallorca Championships final, which was contested between Alejandro Tabilo and Sebastian Ofner. The Chilean was precise in his performance and broke Ofner once in each set to emerge victorious 6-3, 6-4 in nearly 75 minutes. This was his second ATP Tour title (both coming in 2024). In the process, he also became the first Chilean to win a grass-court title on the ATP Tour in the Open Era.

Jurgen Klopp, who was wearing a Germany jersey, met with Alejandro Tabilo in Mallorca, and the two were pictured together before the latter took to the court.

Alejandro Tabilo earned 250 points from his triumph at the 2024 Mallorca Championships and will rise five places on the ATP Rankings, from World No. 24 to World No. 19, one spot ahead of compatriot Nicholas Jarry. His surge means Chile will have two players in the top 20 of the ATP Ranking for the first time since 2005.

The 27-year-old played doubles at the Mallorca Championships and reached the final alongside Ecuador's Diego Hidalgo. Unfortunately, they came up short against Julian Cash and Robert Galloway. Alejandro Tabilo has been having a breakthrough year and reaching new heights on the 2024 ATP Tour.

He began the season with a maiden tour-level title at the ATP 250 ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, and finished as runners-up at the ATP 250 Movistar Chile Open.

Tabilo took his game to the next level at the Italian Open, where he reached his maiden Masters-1000 semifinal. He was seeded No. 29 and defeated Yannick Hanfmann, top seed Novak Djokovic, No. 16 seed Karen Khachanov, and Zhizhen Zhang before losing to eventual champion Alexander Zverev.

Tabilo will now head to London for the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, where he is seeded No. 24 and will face local star Dan Evans in the first round. The Chilean's best performance at SW19 has been a second-round appearance in 2022.
