Iga Swiatek's rumored outfit for the 2025 Australian Open has deeply disappointed tennis fans. Many of them expressed frustration with the Pole's apparel sponsor On, the Swiss sportswear company backed by Roger Federer.

In the lead-up to the Melbourne Slam, Swiatek has been in action at the United Cup. The World No. 2 has been instrumental in Poland's success, winning both her singles matches against the Czech Republic and Norway to lead the team to the quarterfinals of the event.

Amid the five-time Grand Slam champion's campaign in Sydney, a picture of an On-designed kit caught attention online. The outfit featured a vibrant pink, yellow, and green ombre design and was presumed to be Iga Swiatek's ensemble for the Australian Open.

Given that fans have frequently criticized On over their lackluster designs for Swiatek, several of them lamented that the brand had managed to create an "even worse" look for the World No. 2.

"Somehow they managed to make an even worse one.....," one fan posted.
"Why the heck are @on_running getting even worse?" another fan chimed in.
"Got to hand it to ON, they've managed to consistently make even worse kits with every new set," said yet another.

Many fans also voiced frustration with On for recycling the same "awful" ombre design and silhouette for the 23-year-old, bemoaning the lack of creativity on display.

"Why do they just make the same thing but in different colours 😐," one fan commented.
"Awful - do they have any other idea apart from colours blending into one another? lol," a fan posted.
"It’s not just the gradient, it’s the stupid white strip they put on the side of every new kit. Get a new shtick, On!" another fan wrote.

The backlash continued as one fan described the kit as "horrendous," while another speculated that On's designs weren't to Iga Swiatek's liking either.

"I know she opens the box they send her and sighs heavily 😭," one fan remarked.
"This is horrendous," said another.

"I feel really taken care of" - Iga Swiatek on working with Roger Federer-backed On

Although the Roger Federer-backed sportswear brand has received flak from tennis fans over Iga Swiatek's outfits, the Pole herself has spoken positively about feeling valued by On.

In an interview with CNN Sports last year, the 23-year-old emphasized that it was a "struggle" to feel prioritized while working with brands that represented numerous other players.

"I feel really taken care of, which is sometimes a struggle when you work with companies that have 20 other athletes just in one sport," Swiatek said.

On the tennis front, Iga Swiatek is set to lead Poland in their quarterfinal clash against Great Britain. The World No. 2 will square off against Katie Boulter, followed by Hubert Hurkacz's clash with Billy Harris, with a mixed doubles contest to conclude the tie.
