Maria Sharapova appreciated American actress Zoe Saldana. The Russian was all praise for the Hollywood star, who has been in news due to her recent French production.
Saldana's last release was titled "Emilia Perez", a comedy-crime film that received immensely positive responses from audiences and critics alike. Since its release, the production has received numerous nominations at prestigious award ceremonies. It was France's official entry for the auspicious "Best International Picture" at the Oscars.
Saldana also took center stage on Wmag's cover piece, due to her success with Emilia Perez.
Former World No. 1 Maria Sharapova reacted to this by opining that the actress deserved the recognition. The Russian also revealed that she had watched the film twice already, thanks to Saldana's noteworthy performance.
"Heart of gold. @joesaldana Deserves every recognition and so much more. I have watched @emiliaperezfilm twice because of her phenomenal performance." posted Sharapova on her Instagram story.
Sharapova later shared a picture of her and Zoe Saldana as the duo were seen together in New York. The duo were see with prominent Fashion designer Tracy Robbins. Sharapova shared a post of Robbins on her timeline which read:

Maria Sharapova was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.
The Russian player has been one of the brightest stars in not only women's tennis but in women's sports. On the court, she won a total of 36 career titles and also bagged the silver medal at the London Olympics in 2012. She also was part of the Russian team that won the Billie Jean King Cup (then known as the Fed Cup), in 2008.
In terms of earnings, Sharapova dominated the field of women's sports as she had the distinction of being the top-paid female athlete for almost a decade. She remains in an elite list of only 10 female players to have completed the career Grand Slam and became the World No. 1 on five separate occasions.
Along with Sharapova, the distinguished doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan were also inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.
