Martina Navratilova calls Donald Trump 'evil' as President-elect rages against Joe Biden on January 6 Capitol riots anniversary

Martina Navratilova has lashed out at Donald Trump over his harsh remarks about Joe Biden's handling of the transition of power. Known as a staunch critic of Trump, Navratilova has never shied away from publicly airing her frustrations with the President-elect.

After winning the 2024 US presidential election, Trump is set to begin his second term on January 20. However, the President-elect recently took to Truth Social and condemned Joe Biden for hindering the transition with his "ridiculous" executive orders and "money-wasting hoaxes."

"Biden is doing everything possible to make the TRANSITION as difficult as as possible, from Lawfare such as has never been seen before, to costly and ridiculous Executive Orders on the Green New Scam and other money wasting Hoaxes. Fear not, these “Orders” will all be terminated shortly, and we will become a Nation of Common Sense and Strength. MAGA!!!" Trump posted.

American film executive Franklin Leonard weighed in on the rant, highlighting the irony of Donald Trump complaining about the transfer of power on the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, riots, when Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol building in an attempt to overturn Joe Biden's election victory.

"Posting this on January 6 is just... man, what a world," Leonard posted.

Martina Navratilova endorsed Leonard's criticism and denounced Donald Trump as "evil."

"He is evil," Navratilova wrote.

The 18-time Grand Slam champion recently also lashed out at "brainwashed" Donald Trump supporters after one of them blamed the police for the January 6 riots instead of the "peaceful crowd" of rioters.

"This is how brainwashed many Trump voters are😳😳😳," Martina Navratilova posted on X.

Martina Navratilova was recently dismayed by the Christmas message Donald Trump shared on Truth Social, as the President-elect attacked the "Radical Left Lunatics" and lashed out at Joe Biden for granting federal pardons.

"Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics, who are constantly trying to obstruct our Court System and our Elections. They know that their only chance of survival is getting pardons from a man who has absolutely no idea what he is doing," Trump wrote.

Trump also took a dig at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, mockingly referring to him as the "Governor" of Canada.

"Also, to Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose Citizens’ Taxes are far too high, but if Canada was to become our 51st State, their Taxes would be cut by more than 60%," he added.

In response, Martina Navratilova denounced Donald Trump's "hateful" message and labeled him a "psychopath."

"Right? I mean his Christmas message is so full of hate. trump is an utter psychopath," she posted.

The former World No. 1 also called Trump a "moron" after he appeared to change his stance on H-1B visas.
