Martina Navratilova sarcastically quipped at a user online after they called her out for raising her voice against an Israeli strict that caused 25 people's deaths in Khan Younis. She has been keeping up with the Israel-Palestine conflicts and voiced her opinions on the issue on several occasions.
Recently, an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced families, which was supposed to be a safe zone, took the lives of 25 people, including an entire family.
"At least 25 people killed, some burned alive, in an Israeli strike on a school in a so-called designated safe zone in Khan Younis tonight. Among them at least one entire family: Asas Tafesh, his wife and their kids."
Martina Navratilova, who has criticized Israel's actions in the past, took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam the Israeli strike and questioned:
"This is so wrong, criminal in fact. How are these strikes not war crimes???"
One user responded to the American's question by telling her they had stopped liking the tennis legend and asking her to 'stick to tennis.'
"We used to like you. Not anymore. You should have stuck to commentating on tennis and not politics," the user wrote.
Navratilova gave a sarcastic three-word reaction to the above user's response:
"I am gutted."
Martina Navratilova responds to user claiming Hamas set up military outposts in safe zones
Under Martina Navratilva's initial response, a user claimed how Hamas had set up their military outposts in the safe zones. The Israeli Military said that they had attacked Hamas militants, who were operating in the safe zones and planning attacks on Israel.
"Maybe Hamas shouldnt setup military outposts and wespons depots in schools, then, eh? Do you know nothing about how Hamas operates there? Seriously?" the user wrote.
Navratilova responded that it didn't make sense to kill a huge number of innocent people:
"Sure. Let’s kill thousands of people and hope we get a couple of bad guys …"
Back in October, a Palestinian-American performance poet Remi Kanazi made a post on X to condemn Israel's actions of burning children alive in Gaza and dubbed the nation as a 'threat' to every Palestinian.
"Israel is burning alive children in Gaza. I’m not sharing the video. But Israel is burning children alive in Gaza. There are no words. Israel is a nation of genocide. Its existence is a threat to every Palestinian and millions in the region," Kanazi wrote.
Martina Navratilova was shellshocked after reading Kanazi's post.
