Martina Navratilova gave her nod to the idea of wanting President Joe Biden to resign from his position in order to make Kamala Harris the first president of the USA. This step from Biden would make Harris, who lost the 2024 Presidential election Donald Trump, the President till January.
Navratilova, a staunch critic of Trump, also expressed her disappointment at the results of the elections by stating how 'fear' and 'anger' won and also said how America was still a 'racist patriarchy'.
However, a user on X stated that President Joe Biden should resign as an act of protest and make Kamala Harris the first female president until January. This would in turn ruin Donald Trump's 45&47 hat since if Biden is to go ahead with this, it would make Trump the 48th President.

Navratilova took to X to state how the Democrats should fight to make these changes in their final months in office.

A user commented under the tweet saying how the Republican's views on the gender ideology were transphobic and they didn't care about kids and women. They suggested that Democrats should protect the transgenders but also ensure a level-playing field for women.
