Martina Navratilova was baffled by Caitlin Calrk's alleged stalker Michael Lewis' shocking first words during his appearance before the judge on Tuesday, 14 January. Lewis constantly interrupted judge Angela Davis during his initial trial, causing immense trouble for her.
Clark has gained a humungous fanbase in the past few years owing to her revolutionary talent. However, the huge fanbase also consists of some stalkers with Michael Lewis standing out among them. The Texas resident's first words to the Judge when he appeared in the courtroom were:
"Guilty as charged."
This left Davis shocked. She then proceeded to explain how this was an initial hearing and was just to list out the charges. However, the 55-year-old still kept interrupting the Judge.
Martina Navratilova was appalled by what she saw and took to X (formerly Twitter) to give her reaction to Lewis' actions.
"This guy needs some serious help."
Michael Lewis was asked to avoid coming near the proximity of Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indiana Fever's home arena, and Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler's college basketball team's home arena, where Clark's boyfriend Connor McCaffery is an assistant coach, and not have any contact with Clark.
Lewis is in danger of receiving a six-year imprisonment and a $10,000 fine. Here are some of the messages sent by him to Caitlin Clark.
"I'm getting tickets. I'm sitting behind the bench."

Navratilova has expressed her support for Caitlin Clark on many occasions. She had disapproved of Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese's actions against the basketball star during a WNBA game last year.
"What a cheap shot" - Martina Navratilova on Chennedy Carter pushing Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever and Angel Reese's Chicago Sky squared off in a thrilling WNBA game where the former won 71-70. However, during the match Sky's Chennedy Carter pushed Clark and Reese pumped Carter up for actions from the bench.
Martina Navratilova called the action:
"This is not ok…," she tweeted.
When a user agreed with her, she further said:
"I mean what a cheap shot. They just don’t get it… of course it’s a foul…," Navratilova opined.
Martina Navratilova also explained how Caitlin Clark was a valuable asset for all the female basketball stars currently as well as in the long run.
