Martina Navratilova recently reacted to an argument online where Elon Musk admitted that though he wanted to prefer hiring Americans in his companies, he couldn't due to a 'dire shortage'. Navratilova is a huge critic of Musk's work.

During a recent online discussion, Elon Musk brought attention to the lack of 'excellent engineering talent' in Americans under a post questioning the state of American engineers in the country. This led to an argument under his replies.

When another user questioned Musk why he would go for talents from other countries despite the possibility of enough talented Americans existing in their 330 million population, the Tesla brainchild mentioned the lack of 'extremely talented and motivated' engineers as his key reason.

“Your understanding of the situation is upside-down and backwards. OF COURSE my companies and I would prefer to hire Americans and we DO, ss that is MUCH easier than going through the incredibly painful and slow work visa process. HOWEVER, there is a dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America.

A user shared an image of Elon Musk's tweet and joked about how the American business tycoon, who was instrumental in Donald Trump's win in the presidential elections was looking down on American citizens.

“Hey MAGAs…the guy that bought your cult leader thinks you’re all dumb and would hire immigrants over you because they’re smarter and cheaper.”

Martina Navratilova responded to the above user with a,

“Hmm.”

During his appearance on CBS' Face the Nation, Tony Gonzales, a US representative for Texas' 23rd congressional district, opined that Elon Musk was basically the unofficial Prime Minister of America.

"It feels like Elon Musk is our Prime Minister ... a large part of that voice is a reflection of the voice of the people," Gonzales said.

However, Martina Navratilova expressed her thoughts about the idea of having Elon Musk as the 'voice of the people'. She reiterated her thoughts in the comments section as well.

"What a load of crap- Musk is the voice of the people????"

Former Republican Adam Kinzinger implied that Elon Musk was the one pulling the strings behind the scenes, with Donald Trump acting as his second in command. When Musk pressured Congress to reject the stopgap bill and stated that those who supported it should be voted out of office. Kinzinger said:

"President Musk this morning made it clear - with all his vast government experience, which is basically, he became rich on the federal government - that he doesn't want Republicans to pass this."
"Vice President Trump kind of backed him up at that point. [...] This is gonna be a messy 4 years," Kizinger said.

However, when a fan didn't take too kindly to Kinzinger's comments stating how Musk and Trump's actions were meant to help the Americans, Martina Navratilova asked the fan how a Government shutdown would help anyone.
